Bio
Dino Emilio Giancola is a graduate of Montreal's McGill University where he studied classical orchestration and jazz big band arranging. While still in school, he began writing music for film, documentaries, theatre and dance.
Since graduating with Distinction, he has worked on over 60 productions (including over a dozen National Film Board Productions) as well as theme and episodic music for Fox Television and music for Cirque du Soleil's 2008 show that appeared at the 2008 World Expo in Spain. As a result of winning several Canada Council for the Arts grants, Dino was able to study abroad with classical and world music masters. An attraction to world music of all cultures continues to inspire him daily.
